The Bluegrass Unit held our quarterly meeting Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, and the turnout was great! We hope this is the first of many meetings with so much excitement and support. For those that attended....THANK YOU. For those that were unable to make it we would love to see you next month at our Christmassage Party. This email is a re-cap of the meeting.

Education News:
The unit is taking steps to set up massage trade/buddies and a mentor program. There is a wealth of knowledge in our unit and we would love to share this information with others. If there is a modality that you are interested in learning, please forward your desires to one of the officers and we will do our best to facilitate this. CST, Thai, hot stones, visceral, stretching and polarity were some of the modalities that were requested at the meeting.
The Lexington Healing Arts Academy hosts Business CE's on the first Monday each month. (Subject to change with holidays) LHAA Alumni receive the training for FREE, for LMTs that graduated from other massage therapy programs the cost is $30.
The AMT-KY March Convention will be March 2-4, 2012. There will be some terrific vendors and CE opportunities at very affordable rates. Please make plans to attend!
