Dear fellow AMTA members from Eastern Ky,

My name is Cathryn Forester and I'm a therapist in Harlan who has taken on the challenge of forming a MOUNTAIN UNIT of AMTA-KY. This is the first attempt at contacting all the people whose names I've been given by the organization, so if I have anyone on here who doesn't belong, please let me know. Conversely, if you know of someone who should be included but isn't, let me know about that, too.

The goal of this group is to support each other in our business ventures and promote massage therapy to our region. I would like to have regular meetings, provide educational opportunities for our group, be a united presence at community events, and be a support system to each other. To this end I have formed a Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/AMTA-KY-Mountain-Unit/182479595131356  If you are on FB, please LIKE this page and feel free to post on it. Add a link to your own FB page, your website or other massage related or business related sites. In the future, if we need to, we can also create a "group" so that we can communicate between ourselves on FB without the world being able to see our posts. I would love it if we became active enough to need that! 

For now, I'd like to plan a first meeting. Since more of you are in the Corbin/London area than where I am I will be glad to plan a meeting up there. Can someone suggest a place and perhaps a good time in the next month or so?
