2010 Education Conference is "Making a Difference"!
Whether you want to dive into in-depth study or receive your education through interesting short classes, you will find what you want at this Conference.  Our theme is “Making a Difference” and we believe that this meeting can truly make a difference in your practice and your life. There are courses that will inspire you, that will teach you new hands-on techniques, and will prepare you to approach clients in a new and different way.  Some may change the way you perceive your ability to attract clients, others will broaden your understanding of your clients and their conditions.

We have Nationally known educators and authors.  Leading the faculty are:
James Waslaski
,
internationally known massage therapy educator in the area of orthopedic massage
and Ruth Werner, author, educator and president-elect of the Massage Therapy Foundation.
Marjorie Brook of Brook Seminars in New York, will teach you stretching skills that will help you personally as well as professionally.  Her Scar Release techniques may improve the results you see in your clients.
Cheryl Chapman, RN, LMT will provide an in-depth course of study of Massage for Cancer, Hospice, HIV/AIDS and those with life-altering illness.  This class will provide 15 of the 24 hours needed to qualify for the Society for Oncology Massage.  It will also provide a route for those who are interested in marketing themselves as specialists in massage for hospice and cancer.

Getting to the conference hotel is easier too.  This year we will meet at the Holiday Inn North in Lexington, conveniently located at the corner of Newtown Pike
and I-64/I-75 (That is the 1st Lexington exit when traveling from northern or western Kentucky). The hotel features a great “holidome” where you can swim, sit in the whirlpool or just sit and unwind.
